Sovereign AI
Sovereignty is no longer theoretical. It is now a delivery, assurance and procurement challenge. Kainos leads the Sovereign AI Collective, combining a practical sovereignty framework with an ecosystem of UK specialists. From diagnostics to assurance models, we help Defence build, run and govern AI systems with control across the full lifecycle.
Enterprise Data Fabric & Digital Backbone
Our Defence data services are evolving into a core component of the enterprise data fabric and digital backbone. The platform brokers, governs and distributes data across commands operating in secure, accredited environments. The approach shifts Defence from tenant-centric architecture towards reusable enterprise data services.
Autonomous Cyber Defence
Military networks are becoming more complex while adversaries move faster than human defenders can react. Through our autonomous cyber defence research, Kainos is exploring how AI can accelerate cyber defence decision making and strengthen operational resilience.
Army Modernisation
Kainos is expanding from Defence Digital into the Land domain, supporting the evolution of enterprise data capability at the operational edge. Through our partner ecosystem and delivery across Defence, we are helping deliver mission-critical data, AI and digital capability where it is needed most.
